Painting with Bob Ross

ten minute timed writing exercise last night in class =
answer the following question:
Why do trees conceal the splendor of their roots?

it took me about 30 seconds to write the following "free-write":

Bob Ross paints happy clouds
and magical trees for 24 minutes
and in his tone, unearths the beauty
of the root beneath the canvas.
Oils and brush mix with life
and Bob births his world.

I spent the remaining 9 1/2 minutes pondering happy clouds
and the shadows they cast.
